| Welcome to the wonderful world of followthebeat.com. Here, you can find info about the two creators, masterminds, and originators of followthebeat.com. Not only will you be able to find info about the 2 DJ's, but also we will update you with exclusive mixes as we get them.
The website was created due to the passion that both DJ's share for music, and definitely the excitement and energy created from Dance Music. McCord and Nagmier both explain how they enjoy DJ'ing and making music to create an energetic, fun loving atmosphere. They explain how much they truly want to make people feel good about themselves, the music, as well as dancing. Simply stated, "We put the website together to finally be able to reach out and share wonderful music with friends, family, fans, and most importantly the world." McCord goes on to say, "I have always loved music, and have always been influenced by it." Nagmier states, "Over the past few years I have really been taken aback by the music out there, I used to think DJs were the farthest thing from musicians you could be (YES I was wrong). Since I started listening to dance music and going out seeing DJs live I really have changed my opinion. DJing is not only an art form but its more than just music, Its taking your audience on a voyage, conveying your love for the music to them." Nagmier goes on to say, "I'm not a magician by any means but I can't help but try and make a crowd feel the way I feel about music."
The two DJ's both share a passion for music itself, but are both hooked on Trance. "Most of the tunes we play are trance, but we both like to vary our sets a little." McCord will throw in some nice airy progressive tunes as well as some fun funky/filtered house, while Nagmier loves to throw a break beat track from time to time. "We both grew up together which is partially due to similar taste in music, but the similarities end there." McCord loves to take his listeners on a long drawn out journey, "I played at an open DJ event several times, which was quite fun, but the one draw back was I only had 30 min. to play. Which isn't enough time to create the sets I love to play." Meanwhile, Nagmier loves to give it to the audience straight up. He has very direct sets that get straight to the point.
